Accurate, Fearless, Socially Conscious Reporting for the Public Good.
In the day surrounding the inauguration of the next POTUS, there are several large-scale protests planned against President-elect Trump. my plan is to go from Philadelphia on the evening of January 18th and stay with a friend who lives in DC. Covering the Non-ViolentProtests against the incoming Trump Administration, including the Women's March on Washington on January 21, the first official day of the Trump administration.
Donations would cover travel expenses and per diem while I am working each day, as well as, any emergency that may arise in relation to my work as a journalist covering these protests.
My experience covering large-scale protest stretches back to my days working with Occupy Philadelphia as an embedded journalist and covers events in DC, Philadelphia, NYC, Charlotte, NC, and Chicago, IL for Getty, AP, Fortune Mag.,Raging Chicken Press, OpEdNews, the list goes on.
