Dear online friends, fans, and neighbors,
Since I've lost my day-job, I need your help. My album of songs released on August 15, 2017, with my proceeds going to charity (ChildHelp to be specific). So, I need your assistance with covering the direct costs of making the album.
I'm Stan Stewart, a musician who has been writing songs for many years but have never released an album of original songs. (I have lots of music -- mostly improvised -- available but not songs with lyrics until now.) In 2015, I decided to record my 10 favorite original songs and turn them into an album. 10 became 11. The album is named "Dream This ".
Due to a variety of world and personal events, I decided it was important to me to donate the proceeds from my album to a charity that works to make the world a better place. I chose ChildHelp which aims to help end child abuse. I think you'll agree that's a worthy cause.
However, as the album approached release, my credit card bills were a stark reminder about the costs of creating an album even in these times.
What I'm asking for here is help covering the actual expenses of releasing this album. As you'll see in one of my updates, I'm still contributing to the costs as well as the creativity in this project.
To add to the surprises of 2017, I've recently been laid off from my day job. So now, more than ever, I need your donations to retire this debt.
