Today (Tuesday October 23rd) a group of Canadian Entrepreneurs visited a Costa Rica school called San Francisco in the La Fortunate area of Costa Rica. There they were introduced to an amazing concept of learning that combines traditional, yet out of the box schooling, with farming to not only feed the kids in the school organic healthy food that they are involved in growing but also teaching them the art of connecting with nature and the education that happens when they combine that with teaching. This school is one of a kind in Costa Rica and is currently being studied as a model to replicate around CR.
This group of entrepreneurs were so inspired by what they witnessed and the time they spent with these kids we decided it was time for us to give back. The farming part of the school is separate from the public education in the school so that means they need to create their own funding in order to keep it going. Funding for farming staff that teach the kids and supplies and expansion.
We we as a group want to encourage you to join us in achieving our goal of raising money not only for their continuation but for them to thrive and grow.

One thing we are clear on is this model of learning, feeding our kids healthy food and connecting with nature is something the whole world needs and can learn from this school.
