Every single day, Community Rocks! strives to make a difference in the lives of children throughout Camden and neighboring New Jersey communities.  This month, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to raise much needed funds to succeed in our mission.  An anonymous donor has offered to match EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR we raise from now until December 31, 2014. Help us make this a Happy New Year for hundreds of New Jersey kids!

Programs that will benefit from these funds include:

AFTER SCHOOL & WEEKEND PROGRAMS:  Every child needs a safe and positive place to learn and express themselves.  With the funds raised, we can expand our after school program, serve teens and tweens on Friday nights and add a Saturday program.  In addition, we plan to collaborate with local organizations and businesses to bring programs to their communities and neighborhoods.

SCHOLARSHIPS:  No child is ever turned away for an inability to pay.  Community Rocks! provides full-year scholarships to any child in need and every child that graduates Virtua's CASTLE Program in Camden.  A Community Rocks! Scholarship provides children access to all of our programs and services and to those of our partners.

TRANSPORTATION:  Transportation is a huge obstacle when dealing with inner-city children.  Most parents don't own a car and/or work late and odd hours.  We are raising funds to both purchase vans and to work with transportation companies in order to give children a chance to participate and give their parents peace-of-mind knowing their child is safe.
