Community Support for Werkstatt 533

Werkstatt 533 – a locally owned European Auto Service shop located at 533 6th Ave in the Cooke Park Design District of NW Rochester, MN – was started in January of 2015 with the hopes of being a neighborhood hub for car enthusiasts and drivers alike of European car makes such as Mercedes-Benz, Smart, BMW, Mini, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo and more.  

Overnight on Friday, April 14th, 2017, a fire consumed and destroyed Werkstatt 533. While the shop has been deemed a complete loss, Dave Colestock, owner of the building and Werkstatt 533, already plans to rebuild Werkstatt 533 in its current location should all the pieces fall into place. The process is expected to take at least a year and initial projections suspect it to cost upwards of $1 million.

Dave, his wife Candy, and their two young children moved to Rochester to start this family business and built Werkstatt 533 from the ground up. They truly understand and believe the importance of  contributing to their community and giving back. They've shown it to each and every client and business partner of Werkstatt 533 in the last two years, as well as the Rochester community as a whole through being members of their church, the Chamber, the Cooke Park Design District, and more. If you haven't met the Colestocks yet, you should!

It's now our turn to give back to them and show them how supportive the community can be in return as they start the rebuilding process.

No contribution is too small. The Colestocks firmly believes that this community and the Cooke Park Design District is "worth reinvesting in" and we certainly believe that Dave's family and his business is worth investing in as well.
