Hi everyone - I know I have been quiet for a while and I have clocked up a few miles towards my sulky target... however, the big red girls both have canine Leishmaniasis contracted in Spain which means we have been plagued by problems on and off since our return to the UK. Sometimes they have lacked energy or had claw/nail problems.

There have been times on various medications and periods of low energy and one dog had an operation. Generally they are happy and their health is under control, but it has limited this kind of work - being off, getting fit, being off, getting fit and the girls getting older with one now more arthritic!

Due to all this, I will still continue to run them and clock up the miles - all be it at a slower pace... however, rather than keep the money sitting in my fund raiser account, I would like to distribute it to the charities now so they can use it. I would appreciate if any of you would prefer I did not do this - just let me know.

Thanks for all your support and we will keep plugging away! Photo is of my friend Marie on one of the legs with me!

Wow - a big thank you to Lynda Cooper who has donated £20.00 to the project. What an amazing lady - who is totally devoted to her dogs and who rescued the gorgeous George from Alhama de Granada. The project money will go to fund the rescue of more dogs like Georgie boy.

Here's the video of the latest Siblyback ride. Sadly I'm out of action as I hurt my foot! I had hoped to add on a few rides directly after Easter once school holidays are over, but until I can walk on it again, I'm trapped in the house!

Finally finally got the lake video up. It has proved challenging this time but finally done! Another 5km on the sulky fundraiser.

Akina lost a bit of confidence at the beginning as I hit a post. Bad error of judgement on my part but with praise, treats and a fee stops for extra reward she soon got back in the swing. It was a great day and took us a long time because we met so many people to chat to... Although from the video no one will believe me!!!

Additionally, many, many special thanks to the Ray Ward for his donation of £10.00 toward the project.
