Colon Cancer Awareness

Hi! My name is Emily Walason and I am a senior at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. For my senior project, I am organizing a Home run derby tournament for Colon cancer awareness, In support of  my father, David A. Walason. With the wonderful help of my project mentor, Karen Mather, the derby will take place on Saturday, April 2nd at 1:00 at Winslow Park in Warwick, RI. Please come join us! The entrance fee will be $15.00 per person, each participant will receive a t-shirt. If you do not wish to participate and would still like a t-shirt, it will be $10.00. The reason I chose Colon Cancer Awareness is because David, my father, has been battling stage 3 colon cancer since June 6th, 2014. I am so proud of how hard he has fought through this battle. My goal is to raise $1,500 for a great organization called The Colon Cancer Alliance of Rhode Island. I do not think this is an impossible goal to reach with the help of friends, family, and the kind hearts of others. All donations are GREATLY appreciated! Thank you for all your help!!
