We are a non-profit organisation called Jailbreak Events Ltd,
Our goal is to raise as much money as possible for our selected charities, these charities vary from event to event and team to team.
JailBreak is a 48 hour travel challenge in aid of charity. In the run up to the event, our team at contestants raise money for the chosen event charity.
After the horn has sounded, each team has to travel as far as possible without spending any of their own money on travel and relying on the public to help.
The winner is the team which travels the furthest distance from the start within the 48 hour period measured in miles.
This year were raising money for:
Taylor Made Dreams: We chose this particular charity because its close to our hearts and is run by one of our teams family and was created in name of his brother who sadly passed away.
Think Pacific: This year, Glenn from our team will be volunteering as a teacher and grassroots sports coach in rural villages in Fiji/
Beacon In The Gambia: Beacon Academy is a school in East Sussex who take a group of students to The Gambia in West Africa each year with the students decide on the best projects to fund in a unique and educational trip.
After our success in 2018 we decided we couldn't stop there. So at the start of 2019 we all decided to start up Jailbreak Events Ltd and have been working hard to get everything up and running, we have 2 events planned for this year and they will both be professionally filmed and edited and will be available to watch on our social media platforms and our Youtube channel!
