Brown Sugar & Sugar Cubed plan to make this Mother’s Day an extra special one with the announcement of a charity event in salons which will see all proceeds donated to two causes close to Director Mark O’Keeffe’s heart – Childline and Zoe Lonergan.
This Mother’s Day, Sugar Culture will open its salon doors and treat the mothers of Dublin to discounted services. They will be offering an amazing 25% off all blowdrys, upstyles, make-up and nails.
All proceeds from the day will go to two charities – Childline and a fund supporting Zoe Lonergan.
Zoe is a brave 4-year-old battling Juvenile Arthritis. Her illness means she has to travel to Newcastle to stay for six months for Chemotherapy and a Bone Marrow Transplant. Although the HSE will look after the cost of the operation, Zoe’s family still has a lot to cover.
This treatment could make a huge difference in Zoe’s life, and Sugar Culture hopes that all proceeds from this Mother’s Day event will help with costs such as travel expenses, living arrangements in Newcastle, and any loss of earnings the family may experience during the treatment period.
Childline is a part of the ISPCC - The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Their aim is to empower, support, and protect young people through free and confidential services.
Clients will be able to enjoy fantastic discounts on hair and makeup, plus champagne and refreshments, all the while knowing that all proceeds will go to Childline and Zoe Lonergan.
