Clay Bodies Ceramics Club

My name is Mikayla Trapasso and I’m a 1st semester sophomore, with an Art Education major at the State University of New York at Oswego. This past month a group of my fellow classmates and I have gotten together and decided to reinstate the Ceramics Club on campus. We felt that with all of the tremendous options of clubs and organizations that already exist, there was still nothing related to clay and sculpting. We’ve been meeting once a week to discuss the process of becoming a club. We have spoken about possibe activities, and fundraisers we plan on doing this semester. One of our projects will be a pit firing in mid-October that we are all very excited for! However being that we have yet to become an officially recognized club, we are short some funds for materials and are asking for some help with financing. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
