Clarity Recordings: Next Level

Clarity Recordings is a small single-engineer home-based studio in the suburbs of San Diego. Clarity is located in a small, but clean neighborhood that is both compact and family oriented. In an effort to be courteous to our neighbors, I try to keep tracking hours for the louder things to a decent hour, shutting down tracking by 8PM weeknights and 9PM on weekends. This works perfectly for the neighborhood and I've had zero complaints or conflicts. However...

Most artists don't function on set schedules, and I want to take this studio and my capabilities to the next level. I'm setting up this fundraiser to raise money for an isolated vocal booth build, as well as a isolated guitar tracking booth. These items will not only increase trackable hours with a signifcant reduction in audible noise to the neighborhood, but will immensely increase the studio's sonic abilities, reducing exterior noise by up to 95%.

Included with this update are new cable runs for the live room and upgrades to the tracking interface to reduce signal interference. I'll also be adding another layer of acoustic treatment to both the live and control room, and increasing the functionality of the control room with new monitors and ambience.

This is the next level of Clarity.
