Study Trip to Japan

My name is Patrick, I'm 21 years old, and I'm a nerd. On April 15th, 2017, I was at Sakura-Con just browsing through the booths when I came across one for a program called Go! Go! Nihon that advertised studying abroad in Japan. Naturally, an anime convention is the perfect place to do this. After a short conversation with them, I decided to look at the website and see more of what they had to offer.
The end result? I'm wanting to go on a study trip to Japan and learn about the culture and language. I feel it would be good for me to see how things work in other countries, plus this would be good for me as a way to further my education instead of just working on food service for the rest of my life.
UPDATE (5/18/2017): I have a new deadline for paying off the trip. I have to pay off the course by July 10th, which by itself is roughly $3300. Everything else can be payed off later.
The trip itself is scheduled from September 1st to the 26th. I have already turned in my application, and the money will be used to pay for the course, airfare, and a passport.
