Christian Runs Berlin Marathon 9/29/19!

IT’S CRUNCH TIME!! Less than 4 weeks until Christian runs the Berlin, Germany marathon - his 2nd marathon!!
Those of us that are fortunate enough to know Christian, know that he has been nothing short of giving his full heart into every aspect of his life. This consistency and dedication is not only towards his training for this marathon, but also to his beautiful family and everyone else in his life.
With that being said, I decided to start this fundraiser to show him our support through his marathon journey & a reminder that we are there with him every mile. We all know he deserves it!!
CAN’T DOESN’T EXIST!!! As he is continuously reminding us!
The part that he doesn’t discuss much, which I find most astonishing, is something some may not know. When Christian was in his 20’s, he was in a horrific car accident, which resulted in major surgery. He had a broken leg and a rod infused into his hip & femur. He was told he would NEVER run, jump, or be athletic the way he used to be. Yes it is a challenge for him at times, but here he is, running his 2nd marathon in Berlin & then his 3rd marathon 5 weeks later in NYC!
Learning how to walk again after this accident was not the most challenging part, getting out of his own way was the difficult part. He chose not to give up on himself, keeps moving and continuously motivates all of us on a daily basis.
I ask that you join me in showing our love & support for Christian! I want him to focus on training these last few weeks while enjoying himself in Germany for this wonderful opportunity and knowing he can more easily do it along the way with the help of his friends, family and #1 fans. Every little bit will help him along the way :)
