Chris Still (“LL”) Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Kell Football Program lost a member of our family earlier this week. Christopher Still (“LL”) passed away at his home unexpectedly on Monday, October 15, 2018. Chris lived at home with his parents in Woodstock, Georgia. Chris was born on June 29, 1994, in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Chris was a 2013 graduate of Kell High School. He attended University of North Georgia, and was currently in his junior year as an engineering student at Kennesaw State University. Chris enjoyed playing football, music, and spending time with his friends. He refereed youth football teams and umpired girls’ softball.
Chris was a member of the Kell Junior Longhorns from 2006 thru 2008 where he was a talented football player, great teammate and a strong leader. Chris went on to play football during high school with the Longhorns from 2009 thru 2012 where he continued to excel in all areas of being a student-athlete.
Chris is survived by his parents, Martin and Shelia Still; his grandparents Wayne and Janise Plunkett of Stanfield NC; Norma Mack of Morganton, NC and John and Gloria Still of Maryland; aunts and uncles, Shelby and Matt Conrad, Sherry and Gerry Vincent, Greg and Buffy Plunkett; cousins Kala and Justin Warren, Taylor, Hanna, Gaige, Andie, Caroline, Guy, Lynsey and Charlie all of North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, Marty and Shelia asked that the Kell Football Program create a Scholarship Fund to honor Chris. The money donated will go directly to the Kell Scholarship Fund to make sure no player gets left behind for financial reasons.
“LL” was a wonderful young man that has left this earth much too early. He will be missed by his Kell Family.
