Children's Palliative Center Holiday Event

In 2015, our daughter Amalia was diagnosed with a rare, 100% fatal disease called Tay Sachs.  Since her diagnosis, we have been lucky to receive medical and family support from LMU's Children's Palliative Center in Munich.  

As a way to give back to other families in a similar situation as ours, we started a holiday event and gift giving program in 2017.  We would like to continue this event in 2018 and provide families who are spending their holidays in the Palliative Center with a bit of holiday cheer and pampering.  The money we are raising for the event will go towards:

--> Delicious food provided by HEART Restaurant
--> Mom & Dad Gift Bags with special pampering items
--> Massages  for the parents
--> Craft supplies to make a special keepsake with their child
--> Additional gifts for siblings of sick children
--> The purchase of any gifts not purchased from the gift registry

About Sticky Fingers Family e.V.

The Sticky Fingers Family e.V. is dedicated to improving the quality of life for families who have a child with a rare, life-limiting disease.  Our sole mission is to provide families access to resources, tools and community through workshops, personal networks and special events to help alleviate the isolation rare disease families often face.

We partner with families through the Kinderpalliative Center as well as the numerous Ambulante Kinderkrankenplege services in and around the Munich area.

We are raising money through a number of different organisations and events to help pay for and support the programs we create and run for families within the Palliative network.  100% of our donations go to family programs organised by the Sticky Fingers Family Foundation.
