Please help support the Water Protectors at the Standing Rock to Stop the Dakota Access Pipeline.
My name is Adam Rose and I am organizing a supply run to the Standing Rock Camps. I am planning to drive a few others and myself to North Dakota in the next week and am working on organizing more people from Chico to start a supply caravan. Money raised will be spent on items used by the camp and gas for the journey. I will keep a record of the items I purchase for anyone to view. I will not purchase anything unless requested by someone on the ground, or published on the Camps’ official supply needs list.
I am in communication with indigenous people on the ground at the Oceti Sakowin camp and they have given me lists of material and the go ahead to raise money and bring the supplies. I am also working with the Medic Healer Camp and waiting on info about their needs beyond the amazon wish list. If you cannot donate money but you have any supplies from the list you are willing to give, below please let me know and I will pick them up. If anyone is involved with a business that can donate items, please shoot me a message.
I will take all the purchases and donations I can fit in my vehicle and the rest of the funds I will donate directly to the Medic Healer Camp website. If anyone has a larger vehicle they are willing to drive, or trade with me with I am up at Standing Rock it would be greatly appreciated.
Now that the army corps of engineers has issued their statement that they will be removing protestors of December 5th. The future of the largest camp, Oceti Sakowin , is uncertain; however, leaders have released statements saying their resolve to protect the water is stronger than ever. In that regard collecting supplies and having people at the camp now is more important than ever.
