WordSpace promotes established and emerging artists who use imaginative language in traditional or experimental forms. Our programming celebrates diversity of the community of writers and spoken word artists in Texas and bring internationally recognized authors, who embody both the history and future of the literary world. Our goals are: *To deliver quality programming directly to diverse neighborhoods that might not otherwise have access to professional, literary arts events. *To provide honorarium & facilities to support the work of emerging Dallas writers and focus their talents to connect with specific neighborhoods. *To promote cross-cultural understanding and acceptance through artistic programming that neutralizes cultural and neighborhood stereotyping.
