Veterans Memorial News Charity Fundraiser
Hello my name is Shonda and I am the founder of Veterans Memorial News website and APP. In 2015 my daughter lost her father a Marine. I started searching for resources in the community for veterans and their loved ones and could not find a location where businesses could come together and provide support.
Shortly after I enrolled her into horse back riding for therapy and I immediately witnessed the benefits of equine therapy. I was on a mission to develop a tool for the military community that provides a space where families can honor their loved one, share their story and find business incentives.
Now with the help of the community we can build the first horse farm for our homeless veterans where they can reap the benefits of the equine therapy. I started this go fund me to help raise funds for the farm in Ohio. Once we have a working model we aim to have a farm in every state to support and help those suffering with PTSD, TBI or other injuries from their time in service.
