My Name is Kaia Henderson. I am a sophomore at New Hartford Jr./Sr. High School (NY).
On April 2nd, I uploaded a VIDEO CHALLENGE to my Twitter account called the #10kHoursChallenge, encouraging people to submit or post videos of them practicing their craft during this time of social distancing.
My brothers and I have received an outpouring of support for this challenge and many people have asked how they can help out our cause. So, we decided to create a GoFundMe to support our neighbors impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
ALL proceeds will go directly to the Mohawk Valley COVID-19 Response Fund. *Proceeds will not be used to cover the cost of the prizes or our own contributions to the fund*
The United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area and the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties have joined together to create this community-wide fund to support organizations responding to human service needs in Oneida and Herkimer Counties resulting from the impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
