Ukraine Forward, Inc.

Hi everyone,

I would like to share a little about how I came to know the Ukraine Forward organization and why I believe in supporting their cause.

As a Ukrainian, I have attended services at Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church in Jamaica Plain and have assisted there with Plast, a Ukrainian scouting organization, which plays a vital role in preserving our culture and values. At Christ the King Ukrainian Church last year, our Plast group had to move some of our activities to St. Andrew Orthodox Church. The rooms we normally used were filled with medical supplies and humanitarian aid being sorted for shipment to Ukraine. Witnessing this effort firsthand and seeing those stocked rooms left an impression on me.

As my 29th birthday was approaching, I felt compelled to do more to help Ukraine, especially knowing friends and family who have been severely impacted by the war. I reached out to the priest at Christ the King Church, and he connected me with a leader of Ukraine Forward, a fellow parishioner dedicated to the cause. I am eager to support their incredible efforts in sending much-needed medical supplies and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
