The new porterville rescue mission needs your help
Thank you so very much to our new friends Lester & Marybeth.
I'm raising money to benefit The New Porterville Rescue Mission, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about The New Porterville Rescue Mission: We have been instructed by the city of Porterville CA to bring our facility up to current building and safety codes or we will be shut down. We need to have fire sprinklers installed, repave our parking lot to accommodate 7 vehicles, install a commercial stove and hood, update our electrical system, and more. On any given day we house up to 50 men and women including but not limited to Homeless and Disabled Men and Women, Victims of domestic violence, and Veterans between our main facility and the women's shelter next door. If we are shut down these good men and women will be forced to live on the streets. We offer meals, clothing, showers, and laundry services to anyone living on the streets 7 days a week. We also deliver food and hygiene to homeless camps on the river. We survive solely on private donations and are asking for your help. We DO NOT receive any funding from any local, state, or federal governments. A FUTURE WITHOUT HOPE IS TOO MUCH TO BARE. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
