I have always wanted to belong.

My name is Jamie Butler, and I am an international medium. My whole life I have seen, communicated, and have been led by the energy around us. In 2001, I opened The Center for Love and Light, in a spare bedroom in my home. In 2007, I moved into a small office and by 2016, The Center had 6,000 sq ft packed full of spiritual wellness practitioners, healers, and educators. We operated in person as well as online reaching a global community.

The Center’s mission is to compassionately hold space for you to develop the whole self: mind, body, emotion, and soul.

We do this by:

-offering transformative services, education, and products that empower you to connect to your highest potential

-offering a safe, inclusive, supportive community and environment for spiritual wellness

-celebrating differences and allowing those differences to bring us together

-bridging economic, racial, belief systems, and LGBTIQ+ gaps in our spiritual community

-consciously supporting community over competition

At the height of my success COVID led the way to a quarantine in 2020, the landlord re-prioritized their financial needs and closed The Center with a 30-day notice after 13 years of renting & supporting their community. Through this experience, I have learned the importance of stability and reliability. I have decided to re-open The Center by working with The Love and Light Institute 501c3 to raise funds to purchase its own building.

I and the fifteen other in-house healing practitioners that will call The Center their home need your support to be able to achieve the reopening of The Center for Love and Light. The Center needs your support to raise $700k to secure its new location by November 30th, 2023.

Over the last three years, more than a third of our in-town metaphysical spaces have closed in Atlanta due to increasing rent and the economy not supporting increased practitioner rates. Our work is still considered underground though it is highlighted by Forbes as being the strongest growing market in 2023. Businesses & individuals in this field need security and fixed overhead to maintain their practices. Join The Center's mission in holding space for these wellness experts as well as providing community spaces that support the health and wellbeing of whoever comes to be in it.

The new location is nestled on approximately .35 acres of land in Candler Park, within Atlanta's 285 bypass, you can visit Atlanta's first metaphysical library where you can order drinks, and snacks, read or check out a book, dive into one of several healing services from physical therapy and yoga to talk & energy healing or relax on the rooftop garden. You can join one of our many outreach programs which range in cost from free and up, all based on spiritual wellness, such as Healing Nights, Meeting of the Minds, Book Club, and more. You can check out the local artists displayed on the walls or visit one of many micro metaphysical consignment shops. Each shop is an extension of a locally run store here in greater Atlanta. We also boast a sound healing & large crystal store which Atlanta has not seen before. Our three personal exploration rooms will have a psychomanteum, a Faraday room, & meditation/sound healing bed, which are easy to book as well. We are ready to re-root in Atlanta bigger and better than before.
