With the blessings of Lord Sri Venkateswaraswami, we are building a one-of-a-kind Ashtanga Vimana temple at the Sri Venkateswara Temple of Central Ohio (SVTCO) in Delaware County, OH. This sacred temple will be the first of its kind in the United States and a beacon of spiritual and cultural heritage.
The temple will feature a magnificent three-level structure with three sanctum sanctorums:
- Lord Sri Venkateswaraswami in His standing majesty,
- Lord Sri Yoga Narasimhaswami in His seated power,
- Lord Sri Ranganathaswami in His reclining serenity.
Accompanied by shrines for Śrī Mahālakṣhmī, Śrī Goda Devi (Āṇḍāḷ),Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevaswami ,Sri Bhoo Varahaswami,Sri Vakula Mata, Garuḍa, Hanumān, 12 Azwars and 4 Acharya's, Śiva (Mallikarjunaswami), Parvati (Bhramaramba) Sri Ganapati, Sri Valli, Devasena sameta Subrahmanya Swami, 4 Gopuram's, and Dhwajasthambham. This temple will be a living embodiment of Sanātana Dharma, a place of worship, learning, and devotion.
The temple is being constructed following guidelines from the Sri Vaikhānasa Āgama Sāstra. We are committed to bringing experienced artisans from India to ensure the temple's authenticity, beauty, and spiritual integrity.

Our Story
Our journey began in 2015 with a shared vision to create a spiritual home for our community and something unique for the rest of the USA. The sacred principles of Sri Vaikhanasa Aagama Sastra guide every step of the temple's construction, ensuring its authenticity and sanctity. Today, thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we have a fully functional Phase 1 temple where daily worship and vibrant celebrations bring us all together. The spirit of our community is the foundation of this temple.
Currently we are nearing the completion of the shell building, and later this year we will begin the Indianization process for which we have engaged silpis (sculptors) from Tamil Nadu, India for adding intricate artistic carvings to enhance the traditional beauty and sacredness of the temple. This year we completed the Vigrahow Sthapanam (installation) of Lord Sri Yoga Narasimha Swami and Lord Sri Ranganatha Swami Deities on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
The Ashtanga Vimana Temple is more than just a building; it is a bustling hub of activity and learning. We are especially proud of our active youth group, with teens participating in cultural events, Sloka classes, and various temple activities, ensuring our heritage thrives with the next generation. The SVTCO temple is a living example of what countless hours of selfless service can accomplish.
