Give and Support Shirdi Sai of Delaware Temple
Om Sairam to Sai Bandhus,
I hope you, your family and friends are doing well and staying safe.
The Covid-19 Virus has caused an interruption in our daily routine and our way of living, at the very least. In consideration of your safety, a decision was made to close the temple on the eve of Friday, March 20, 2020. Shirdi Sai of Delaware, (SSD) has not ceased with the daily running operations of the temple. Priest Ponna Garu has been performing Aartis and Pujas daily, except Wednesdays when Aartis are performed with the help of Volunteers. Most of the Puja’s have been telecasted via Facebook, (http://facebook.com/saitemple.delaware).
Shirdi Sai of Delaware (SSD), is a small local temple and a 501 C(3) non-profit organization. Currently, there are no devotees coming to the temple and hence there are no hundi collection. SSD monthly expenses are approximately $6,500.00 for the mortgage, payroll, health insurance, taxes, insurances, utilities, and maintenance expenses.
SSD does not have any funds in reserve, since the temple is only 3 years old and it is a small temple. SSD relies on Hundi collections and Temple Services to pay for the monthly expenses. SSD is seeking your financial HELP during these critical times. We are humbly requesting, everyone to consider your temple and donate generously to SSD.
We are asking Alms (BHISKA) to each of YOU. Kindly, donate generously! Your contributions will be used solely towards the expenses. SSD will recognize your contributions and will do Annadhanam on your (family) name, once the temple is open to the public
