The Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia is MORE than just a hospital, it’s a lifeline for individuals recovering from spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, and other neurological challenges. A few years ago, my father had a life-altering accident while cutting down a tree. He nearly lost his leg, suffered a stroke, and experienced significant vision impairment. Our world was turned upside down. But through the compassionate care and world-class rehabilitation at the Shepherd Center, he learned how to walk again. Their staff didn’t just treat him, they uplifted all of us.
