We're back! It's May, and we are excited to be riding 40 miles with Team Sanctuary on Sunday in the Five Borough Bike Tour!

We hope you'll support our ride again this year - any and all donations are so appreciated. All funds will support Sanctuary's work with survivors of domestic violence and trafficking - wrap-around services that are truly transformative and help survivors create a safe and stable future. There are endlessly inspiring stories on the Sanctuary blog if you want to see how your gift will make a difference.

Lisa and Gara Ride for Sanctuary for Families
We're back! Well, we're almost back. After a long three-year hiatus, we were excited to be riding in Sunday's NYC Five Borough Bike Ride with the amazing team from Sanctuary for Families. But life has gotten in the way again - Lisa is still recovering from a nasty upper respiratory infection, and Gara's beloved Aunt Jackie passed away this week at the age of 93. So we are postponing our ride until August 1st, when we'll be riding 40 miles on Whidbey Island, in memory of Aunt Jackie (who was herself a social justice warrior) and inspired by the courage and resilience of gender violence survivors everywhere.

But we aren't postponing our fundraising! Our goal is to raise $5K by May 6th (shameless plug - coincidentally Lisa's birthday) - any and all donations are greatly appreciated, and every dollar will help Sanctuary for Families provide life-saving shelter, legal, counseling, and economic empowerment services to thousands of survivors in need.

SFF is dedicated to the safety, healing and self-determination of victims of domestic violence and related forms of gender violence. SFF provides services to over 10,000 survivors per year, over 80% of whom live in poverty. A significant portion of SFF's budget is made up of donations, small and large, from individuals like you who want to make a difference for survivors of domestic violence.
