Thanks for your interest in my fundraiser! My name is David Kenedy, I'm a photographer in Richmond, VA who has been documenting the #BLM movement. I took this photo of the Robert E. Lee statue on Monument Ave surrounded by peaceful protestors earlier this week.

After it was posted on Instagram and featured by RVA Mag I have had a bunch of people hit me up asking me for prints. 

So I have decided to do a fundraiser to raise money for a locally black owned organization that helps the black communities here in Richmond, and after asking around I found the Where-We-Help network, which is a network of local organizations who are working together to get
recently released prisoners, most of whom are black folks, rehabilitated with various initiatives, including:

Mental health services
Transitional and permanent housing communities with compassionate landlords
Food and basic needs programs
Leadership workshops via community outreach ministries
Substance abuse counseling

Many of them are eager to lead and use their life
experience to contribute to the #blacklivesmatter movement as soon as possible.

All profits will be going to this network via their non-profit organization Real Chances.

I know there's a lot of organizations out there that need help but a lot of the larger ones are getting most of the attention right now. I myself have donated to those too and they are awesome but let's not forget about the smaller local stuff.

Here's the breakdown:

All of these are archival inkjet prints on Fuji Deep Matte paper, which basically means they will last for decades if kept out of direct sunlight in a frame with acid-free materials.

I've also had some requests for T-Shirts, so I am including that as well. Choose S M L XL




TIER ONE: $15 - You will receive one 5x7" print

TIER TWO: $35 - You will receive one T-Shirt - choose your size S M L XL

TIER THREE: $50 - You will receive one 11x14" print

TIER FOUR: $100 - You will receive one 16x20" print

TIER FIVE: $150 - Gets you a 16x20" and a 5x7", plus the shirt, not to mention RESPECT because you are awesome!


Make sure you drop your name and where you want your stuff delivered. I may drop it off personally if its in Richmond depending on how many there are, but if its outside the city then def don't forget to give me an address to ship to. Extra funds for shipping are appreciated!
