Eid ul-Adha is  here, and it is time for Udhiyyah as well as Sugar and love for the most vulnerable children and families in need.

Let's bring smiles to Syria's children and yummy food to the table. 

Udhiyyah is the Islamic  slaughter of a sheep or a cow for Eid, so families in need can share your family's joy and blessings. All slaughters for Eid will happen for displaced families in the North, many of whom are families displaced from Daraa and Eastern Ghouta. Most have not eaten meat in years, and many children have never tasted meat. Can you imagine?

Each animal is a good-size and has lived a free-grazing, healthy life. We do not slaughter skinny or starved animals for udhiyyah, so be assured that the animals have lived a humane life and will be slaughtered in order to be food for hungry and starving families.

If you want to bring joy to children, sponsor candy and toys! Each share of candy and Eid Happiness is $25 and will ensure one child feels the joy of Eid with a toy, candy, and new clothes.

How many children will you bring smiles to? NuDay Syria serves all children across religion so although Eid is a Muslim holiday all children in need will get served meals and Eid treats.

NuDay Syria is working closely with the local rescue group the White Helmets as bombings have been coming down over areas in Idlib this past week. 

White Helmets are saving lives as bombs shell people's lives, this time in Idlib. Injured people are moved to local medical facilities for urgent emergency care - care that NuDay is helping provide by sponsoring the hospital care. Surviving families are getting moved to safe housing.

NuDay Syria is currently dealing with over 100 families and they need medical supplies, emergency food for surviviors, and aid items. These families include the family of five young girls who lost their parents and brother this week and now are living in safe NuDay housing. There are many families with sad stories like this one and they all need food baskets, basic things such as blankets, and drinking water.

NuDay Syria is working around the clock to save lives- and with your help, we can do it. Time is of the essence. Know that every single dollar counts, so donate with your heart and tell your friends to save a life as well.
