Instead of gifts, I'm asking for donations to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), an incredible organization dedicated to empowering those living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related diseases. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.  As many don’t know, My son Lil Tom was recently diagnosed with duchenne muscular dystrophy, I also have a nephew with the disease.  It is not curable at this time.  I’ve created this go fund me to raise awareness, and money to help support the cause.  And to help gain some attention I will be competing in my first ever toughman boxing tournament, any and all prize money attained from this will also go straight to the cause.

My name is Lang White. I am a senior at MacArthur High School in San Antonio, Texas. I am one of three nominees for this year's Prom King at MAC! Part of this honor comes with the opportunity and commitment to raise funds to support a charity of our choice. I have chosen to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association(MDA). My Dad was diagnosed with a form of Muscular Dystrophy 10 years ago, so I know first hand the effects this disease can have on an individual and a family. 
     If I raise the most money among the nominees I will be crowned Prom King and we will help fight MD together!
