Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Miracle League North Bay, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Miracle League North Bay: The Miracle League makes dreams come true for children and adults with disabilities. It's more than playing a game. The Miracle League is about making new friends, building self-esteem and being treated like an athlete. To help the athletes, the Miracle League uses a buddy system, resulting in a beautiful bond between disabled player and an able-bodied peer.
What your donation will go to:
#1 Shade awnings need to be installed in order to help make the kids more comfortable to prepare and recover from games during hot sunny days. This is also for the safety of the players as some have had problems with heat exposure leading to occasional seizures.
#2 Increased lighting around the park in order to increase night security.
#3 Which is partially related to #2 we need to install new cables for the flag pole so we can hoist up a new flag. These were stolen hence the need for more lighting.
