Emergency Dental Surgery for Wendy, a Community Cat
Wendy has spent most of her life surviving in a dirty backyard. While she’s an outdoor cat, Wendy has always been peaceful, never asking for much, just a little food and a safe place to rest.
Recently, we noticed something was wrong. Wendy had stopped grooming, was losing weight, and then began bleeding from her mouth. We knew we had to act fast. Thanks to quick teamwork, we were able to trap her and rush her to the vet.
What they found was heartbreaking: severe dental disease, broken teeth, and massive oral bleeding. The only solution to ease her pain and help her recover was a full dental extraction.
Dental procedures for cats are incredibly expensive and Wendy doesn’t have an “owner.” She’s part of our colony, and as a small, volunteer-run rescue, it’s our responsibility to give her the care she needs and deserves.
We’re doing everything we can, but between Wendy and the many other cats we look after, our resources are stretched to the limit.
We’re asking for your help to cover the cost of Wendy’s vet visit, surgery, and post-op care. Every dollar helps and goes directly toward Wendy’s medical bill. Let’s show her that even a “community cat” is not forgotten and very much loved.
Thank you for being part of Wendy’s rescue story.
