Life Connection Mission, Inc.

Relaunched for 2020-2021 school year! Our Alms for Animals Club at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School raises money to purchase livestock (goats and chickens) for Haitian families in need of additional sources of food on the island. In 2015, while we were students at St. Patrick’s School – Alms for Animals was founded.  We continued raising funds into our high school years and have delivered many goats and chickens to provide milk, eggs, and meat.  The gift of farm animals is truly a blessing to the families who receive them. 
 
We ask that you consider almsgiving to provide additional goats and chickens for those in need. High school students from Good Counsel and other local schools have been able to work at the charitable organization that we support (Life Connection Mission in Montrouis, Haiti) and have been able to deliver the goats acquired through our club to families assisted by the Mission.  Any donation will help make an impact (One goat purchased and delivered costs $80). LCM realizes this commitment through evangelism, medical care, humanitarian outreach, education, and career preparation. Programs supported by LCM include: a church, food distribution, medical clinic and surgical support services, building programs, agricultural programs, school feeding program, a primary and secondary school, post secondary education, and more.
