I'm Stephanie Smith, director of communication and membership at the Kentucky Nurses Association. Please join me and donate to the Kentucky Nurses Foundation Flood Relief Fund. Your contribution will go directly to the communities hit hardest by the recent massive flooding in Eastern Kentucky to provide supplies such as clean water, wipes, cleaning supplies, food, and many other items and additional support in this unthinkable disaster. According to an update from Gov. Andy Beshear on Sunday, July 31, the death toll sits at 26 and is expected to rise.
