IAVE's mission is to enable leaders of volunteering worldwide to stand in solidarity with one another to promote, support and celebrate volunteering in all of the many ways it happens throughout the world. We work with a distinctively global perspective to bring together all sectors under the shared belief that volunteering is vital to creating a fair, peaceful, sustainable and compassionate world. Through our core functions – advocacy, knowledge development, network development and convening – we provide the platform for volunteer leaders connect and engage with one another and jointly advocate for the importance of volunteering to addressing some of the most critical challenges that exist in our world today.
