Courtyard Renovation for The Phillips Academy

Introduction:
The Phillips Academy (formerly The Children's Learning Center), a small non profit middle and high school program has been serving students with special needs from the greater bay area for over 45 years. Our students have greatly benefited from the academic, social, and emotional support that they have received from our dedicated staff. We are located in Alameda and have been at our current site since 1984.
Our Plea:
We are in need of immediate funds to renovate our recreational courtyard. Without a gym, this is the main area for our youngsters to engage in physical activity. The mulch and tan bark that has covered a portion of the yard has proved to be impractical and sometimes unhealthy when there are heavy rains or when the weather is extremely dry.
We would like to provide our students with a safe place to play, to engage in physical education, and to develop recreational skills. Your help is needed and will make an instant impact!

Goal: We need to come up with $13,000 as our share of the renovation expense to purchase panel base materials to cover the entire courtyard. The panel base materials are more durable, shock absorbing, long lasting, and safe.
Here is a photoshop example similar to what we hope to install in the Spring of 2019:

Will you please consider a small donation of $10 to make this dream a reality? Please allow us to continue our vision of seeing the possibilities and making them real.

Please help our exceptional students expand their area to learn, play, connect, and achieve today! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
