To support the most vulnerable in our community who lack access to the basic needs of food and shelter, and assist them in moving towards self sufficiency. We start our work with building trust with our clients by connecting with them on a personal level-one human being to another, moving on to helping the clients identify their needs and then assisting with resources and helping them get what is needed. Needs are diverse-lost ID, unemployment benefits, health issues, food stamps, housing. We have found that there are many road blocks for our clients starting with not knowing what help they can get, where/who to approach, internet and computer access, etc. We help with this slow and arduous process, guiding and hand-holding our clients through this. Our ultimate goal is self sufficiency
