Chucky's Fight

The fundraiser, Freezing for a Reason, is canceled this year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, which is our primary source of income. Our ability to fundraise this year has been nonexistent and with overdoses rate soaring we need your help now more than ever! Do you guys know my friend Chucky? Chucky created this organization, and I’m Jessie. Chucky and I are both honored to witness the journey of so many in their fight for recovery from substance use disorder. We help individuals get scholarships for recovery housing (sober living) after they have completed treatment. Insurance companies do not pay for recovery housing, and that is, often, where the miracle of recovery happens; we work closely with recovery homes in NH to try to get individuals connected to the recovery community, have in-depth personal conversations with every individual we fund to make sure the program is the right fit for them. Chucky and I are both survivors of the devastation felt by the opioid crisis; we have both lost loved ones to overdoses. I mention this to honor their memory and the part of them that lives on in us and gives us the strength to continue this fight. We have lost so many; please help us pay it forward to try and save another. Your donation would help them get started in recovery as our scholarship affords them them the opportunity to get in the door and then the journey becomes their own. More information about Chucky's Fight: An Organization That Helps Educate Teens And Their Families On The Dangers Of Drugs And Alcohol. Many Of These Events Are Organized To Provide Healthy Activities Which Replace And Detour Them Away From Experimenting With Illegal Substances. Chucky Also Gives Presentations At Various Schools And Organizations, Telling His Story About His Family's Fight Against Teen Substance Abuse.
