The goal of Buck Creek Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is to positively impact our community by fostering independence in the lives of individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. We will provide a day-habilitation program that promotes independence and provides services in transitional, daily living and vocational skills. We will provide a quality, safe, and positive vocational training for teens (ages 15 and up) and adults with autism and other intellectual disabilities. With limited resources/opportunities available for the special needs community, many of these adults are left to lead an unproductive and unfulfilling life. Many will lack the opportunity to establish social relationships, seek employment, live with a level of independence that we take for granted.
