Support the Next Generation of College Graduates with the Betancourt Scholarship Fund (BSF)

The Betancourt Scholarship Fund (BSF) is dedicated to empowering Colonial High School seniors who dream of a college education but face financial barriers. Our mission is simple: to provide a cash award to graduating seniors who will begin their journey in a four-year college program.

As of January 2019, the BSF is a proud 501(c)(3) Florida-registered non-profit, meaning your donations are tax-deductible and you will receive an official receipt for your generous contribution via PayPal.

This scholarship is uniquely targeted toward first-generation college students—those who will be the first in their family to attend college. With a GPA of 3.0 or higher, these students from Colonial High School in Orlando, FL, will graduate in May 2025, ready to take the next step toward their future. Helping first-generation college students succeed
The Betancourt Scholarship Fund (BSF) is a cash award for graduating Colonial High School Seniors who will enroll in a traditional four-year college program in 2023. As of 01/02/2019, the BSF is a Florida-registered non-profit with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. All donations made to this public charity are tax deductible and you will be issued a donation receipt via PayPal.

The scholarship is directed towards students who are the first in their family to attend college, have a 3.0 GPA, and is graduating from Colonial High School - Orlando, FL in May 2023.

Your donation towards the scholarship will assist the student in their first semester. Upon disbursement of the funds, your name will be featured on the scholarship's website.

The Betancourt Scholarship Fund thanks you in advance for any contribution made. Every dollar counts and no amount is too small.
