Charity climb for Cork Simon Community-Edel House

€875 of €5,000 goal

Raised by 28 people in 7 months
Hi folks! I’m off to climb Mt. Elbrus in Russia this July, which is the highest mountain in Europe and one of the 7 summits, to raise money for two great local Cork charities - Cork Simon Community and Edel house which is run by Good Shepherd.
Cork Simon works in solidarity with men and women who are homeless in Cork, offering housing and support in their journey back to independent living.
Edel House is perhaps the best known of Good Shepherd Cork’s projects. Providing emergency accommodation for homeless women and children. In addition to providing emergency shelter, the staff work with women, empowering them to return to independent living as soon as possible and is the only homeless shelter in Cork that can admit and care for children.
I am financing the trip myself so every last penny raised will be split equally between these two amazing charities. Any donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated! Thanks a million!
