Help Chance get his second chance

Chance is a beautiful Mastiff and American Bully mix. He was rescued from San Antonio Animal Care Services where he was facing euthanasia. Chance was rescued by Paws of Texas Rescue, who has provided full veterinary care, and provided Chance with a professional dog trainer to help him over come his fear of men. On October 7th, Chanced visited the vet where it was confirmed that not only does Chance have heartworms, but he was shot with BBs before he was rescued. The good news is that he received a clean bill of health, and he interacted wonderfully with the male veterinarian and male techs that work in the clinic. The downside is that heartworm treatment can be costly. Additionally Chance needs more training before he can attend an adoption event. We want to set him up for success, not failure. Heartworm treatment is going to cost us about $350, while training will cost us $200. All together, that's $550 we are trying to raise. Chance has been through so much, and is such a sweet and gentle soul, that we are ready to do anything and everything we can to ensure he gets the best care.
