Chance for Deb

Donation protected
This is the story of Deb.
I met Deb in 2013, returning to the work force, it was quite daunting but as soon as I met Deb in the office she lit up my whole life, she always had the most amazing smile and everyone who dealt with her at the service desk left with a smile, I admired her courageous and carefree spirit, she was sunshine on a rainy day and this is why I have decided to set up this GoFundMe page for her and her beautiful kids.

This week while scrolling through facebook I came across a post deb had posted. She was in desperate need, she'd lost two jobs and had a car accident in one day, a single mum with health issues, she was in dire need of financial help.

Deb has a condition known as Myasthenia gravis a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease characterized by varying degrees of weakness of the skeletal (voluntary) muscles of the body and Ocular myasthenia gravis (MG) a disease of the neuromuscular junction resulting in hallmark variability in muscle weakness and fatigability. MG is an autoimmune disease where anomalous antibodies are produced against the naturally occurring acetylcholine receptors in voluntary muscles.
Both of these are incurable

As a result Deb lost her job, rental house, was homeless for a while and lived in a women's shelter for 3 months while undergoing daily intense treatments at the cancer clinic. She had to get herself there on the bus and was alone for these treatments. She missed out seeing her children a lot during this time as they needed their routine and security of their wonderful dad.

Deb's disease has progressed to where eye surgery has failed and She is due to have more. The disease is progressing quickly and the end result is extreme reduction in sight (eyes go in different directions and her eye lids will almost close) Myasthenia Gravis can result in a breathing tube and wheelchair.

She is far to proud to ask for help and continues to push through obstacles and defy odds with so much spirit, but there is only so much one can do alone.
She decided she wanted to prove to herself that she can help change her future prognosis by starting to train and strengthen her body as much as she can. She wants to set a good example for her children for as long as she can. As for her sight, she fears this will go down hill quickly

Deb has worked so hard and lives hand to mouth on a disability pension just to provide for her children

She has never had a holiday with her kids because She simply can't afford to and was too sick.

She wants to experience Hayley and William playing at the beach and enjoying fun times while mummy can still play with them. She doesn't want to forget what they look like when they're playing like that and she is afraid that she will loose her sight before they get to experience that.

William has had such a hard time with bullying at school and often comes home crying about being called names and also the kids calling Deb names.... Because sometimes she walks funny

Hayley works so hard at school and sometimes had to make dinner as Deb is too tired to get out of bed. Hayley deserves to be a kid as long as she can and not have to "be the mum" when Deb just simply can't...

Deb is in massive debt, has no car due to the accident, she has no chance of a holiday and limited time....

I'm making this pledge to help this beautiful woman, she is a talented and gifted musician and the most amazing mother, she is selfless and really needs help... I myself am not in a financial position to help her and I hope me making this page can help change her life for the better.
Please donate kindly so she can be financially free, so she can afford to pay for much needed operations instead of waiting on the public list for help, so she can go on a Holiday and have beautiful memories with her kids... I want this beautiful lady to know just how loved she is... Let's make a difference for Deb ✌️❤️
