Central West Drought Relief
Donation protected
The Team on the Bathurst Correctional Centre Project are currently liaising with the Warrumbungle Shire Council in order to coordinate the delivery of a Semi-Trailer load of bottled water to some of the most drought affected regions of Central-West NSW. Some of these towns include the likes of Cobar, Mendoora and Tilpa, where their rural locality provides distinct logistical challenges.
A local trucking company have generously donated a Semi Trailer, to be driven by members of the HY team from Bathurst, delivering pallets of bottled water where it is needed most – preferably to schools.
In order to see this initiative to fruition, we are aiming to raise $13,000 which will cover the cost of a full semi-load (26 pallets) of bottled water (37,440 bottles).
We are seeking corporate donations, large or small. Every dollar counts towards ensuring the health of our most vulnerable Australian communities in this difficult climate.
