Help Easter Seals Kids

This year I am again hosting an event called Celebrate the Lights: Horse & Carriage rides for Easer Seals kids. Easter Seals is a charity that helps kids with physical disabilities succeed in life, one way of achieving this is be sending children to summer camp. This is an annual event that you can attend or you can donate online. My goal this year is to send 2 kids to this wonderful summer camp this year. All money raised at this event will help physically disabled kids go towards this goal and it will help kids experience barrier free environment where they feel normal. I am reaching out to you (in our global village) to help me raise money for this great cause. Your contribution is immensely appreciated.
I am a real estate agent with Century 21 Miller in Oakville, and I believe in giving back to the community. I believe in strong community bonds and knowing your neighbours. I am an active member of several charitable committees and I always lend a helping hand. As part of giving back to the community, I have organized a charitable event that I host every year in Collage Park area during the Christmas Holiday season: Celebrate the Lights.
Celebrate the Lights is a local community outdoors event geared towards local families that can benefit form a global campaign. I believe it is an attractive way for parents and their children to enhance their Holiday experience. Families go on a Horse & Carriage tour of the area and admire homes that are beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and various holiday ornaments. While they are waiting in line for their turn, they have the opportunity to enjoy hot chocolate and candy canes, and listen to Christmas carols (curtesy of volunteers from a local high school), meet friends and neighbours.
The event is free and all are welcome to participate. However, donations are collected. All funds collected at the event, as well as on this fundraising campaign, will be donated to Easter Seals (a Charity of choice for Century 21 Miller Real Estate Brokerage where I am a sales representative and a committee member.) It costs $2400 to send one physically disabled child to a summer camp for one week. During that week, the child can experience barrier free environment and be surrounded by children with similar challenges. My goal this year is to send two children to such a camp. That means I have to raise $4,800.
I believe that Celebrate the Lights is a great event that can accomplish a number of great things all at once. It can help physically disabled children go to summer camp, it can help a community grow stronger, it can spread the Holiday cheer, and much more.
I believe in the importance of giving back to the community. I believe that strengthening community bonds is ever so important. I encourage you to help me bring smiles to families in this community, and I encourage you to organize and contribute to your community as well.
