Cedar Ridge Elementary Play for All

Cedar Ridge Elementary School is excited to announce the start of a new playground project and we want YOU to be a part of it!  The CRE Playground Project Committee is raising funds to make the playground safer, more fun, and more accessible to all children.  Improvements to the playground will be completed in several phases. The first phase will include the addition of a swing specifically for children with limited mobility, game/musical instrument panels, and another piece of equipment which will accomodate groups of children, including those who use wheelchairs With adequate funding, additional phases may include resurfacing the playground and replacing current equipment with new piceces, making the entire playground accessible to individuals with limited mobility and those who use wheelchairs.  These exciting changes will make it possible for ALL students to enjoy playing together on the playground.  A fully accessible playground will also be an amazing asset to the entire Pueblo West Community.  

The costs of these improvements is estimated to be $80,000-130,000.  To finance this project, the Playground Project Committee is pursuing community grants, and has set a goal to raise $25,000 in individual and business contributions.  

We would greatly appreciate your support for our school, our parks, our neighborhood, and the Pueblo West community. We'll also ensure our kids write thank you notes to donors!
