Fighting for Breast Cancer

It is estimated that roughly 41,000 mothers, wives, sisters and friends will die this year due to a devastating Breast Cancer Diagnosis. Since our inception in 2016, Sigma Nu Theta Rho has been steadfast in our resolve to promote Breast Cancer Awareness, joining millions across the globe in a rather ambitious goal: eradicating this vicious condition.
This cause, as some of you might now, hits home particularly hard to us - in 2013, our very own Brother Tony Braglia lost his mother Heidi to Breast Cancer after a courageous fight. Our love for Tony, and his passion for helping families across the globe in combatting Breast Cancer continues to inspire our Chapter to be apart of something bigger than all of us - you all have the opportunity to join us in our journey as we promote this great cause.
It is the genuine belief of Sigma Nu Theta Rho that we all have the capacity to make a difference - This year, Sigma Nu Theta Rho has teamed up with popular EDM artist R3HAB to host a concert on Halloween: ALL proceeds will go directly to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
We believe this will serve as the perfect opportunity to rally the ISU community toward a phenomenal cause - yet, dreams, as we all know, don’t run on faith alone.
To date, thanks to the efforts of Cole Douglas (Philanthropy Chair) & Michael Plantamura (Social Media Chair & Genuinely Outstanding Guy), we have secured sponsorships from local businesses, including Young America Realty, DP Dough, First Site Realty, and even the Chicago Bears.
In addition, we are also humbly asking for donations. Again, ALL proceeds go directly to Susan G. Komen - no donation is too small.
We have faith that this GoFundMe effort will exceed expectations - and we sincerely thank you for your love and support.
