The Beat Retreat Cardiac Camp
Ever wondered what it’s like to go to camp? Or perhaps you’ve been and want to go again. Now’s your chance! The Beat Retreat is hosting a weekend retreat – in a summer camp setting – for congenital heart disease patients 18 years of age or older.
As “campers”, you’ll have a chance to:
• experience new activities,
• connect with other CHD patients,
• build “heartfelt” friendships, and
• have a whole lot of fun.
When: September 15-18, 2016
Where: A rustic but comfortable camp on the shores of Moira Lake, 45 minutes north of Belleville.
This is your opportunity to participate in a mix of traditional camp activities (campfires, canoeing, high ropes, etc.) all geared to your physical ability and comfort level… and with plenty of “down time” to re-energize and socialize.
