Grooming Corner Canyon

Fat biking and grooming are a labor of love. Grooming makes a fantastic trail and also helps promote my bike shop, Thin Air Cycles. However, I realize that not everyone is going to visit the shop. I understand that people have their favorite shop, online store, or they may not even own a bike and may just enjoy a groomed trail. People want to help and here's how. 

Use of Funds:

Purchase another snowmobile as a back up
Maintenance and fuel on existing snowmobile
New grooming comb on drag

The additional snowmobile will also be used with the existing snowmobile to pack the trails even better. Double the grooming power.

History of Grooming:

I pitched my idea to the Draper Trails Committee in Oct 2015 and I received permission to groom the trails on a volunteer basis with my own equipment and insurance. First significant snowfall was Dec 11, 2015 and it was 18" deep on Ann's trail. We groomed a lot of deep snow last year. My Dad gave me 2 old sleds last year.  We distroyed one by shearing the drive shaft early in the year. That was the green sled at the top of Canyon Hollow last year.  I hand built the grooming drag that gives it the corduroy look of a ski run.
