Help our Homeless Veterans

There are over 39,000 Veterans sleeping on the streets of America tonight.  Wichita Falls Texas intends to be the next community to say we have eliminated Veteran homelessness from our community and we need your help!  We are building Base Camp Lindsey, a transitional living facility for homeless and at risk Veterans.  We will provide them with safe shelter and caring case managers while we help them figure out what put them on the street, help them overcome those obstacles and help them regain their lives and their independence.  All of this will be free of charge to our Veterans, they have already more than earned it.  Base Camp Lindsey will have room for  25 Veteran rooms, a site manager's quarters for after hours emergencies, a computer lab, offices, game room and a chapel.  Residents of the village will have access to medical care, mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, and job search assistance as well as assistance in accessing the VA benefits to which they are entitled.  All with access to case managers and Veteran Service officers every step of the way.

We have a goal of opening the doors on November 11, 2020, and the clock is ticking.  Right now, we are looking at a price tag for total completion of $150,000 dollars. That is an ENORMOUS amount of money, but we know this country loves our Veterans.  We've seen crazy amounts of money raised for a lot of worthy reasons and we are counting on Social Media to do it again.  We are asking each of you, if you support our military and our homeless Veterans, lets help this go viral.  Lets spread it around the world and raise the money for Base Camp Lindsey.  Even if you cannot personally donate, please share it to your family and friends in case  one of them can.  Just think, if 150,000 people would donate a dollar each, we would have the money to build!  It's not how much you give, but how many will give.  Will you?
