Dear Family, Friends and others who might be interested in donating,
My name is Jennifer and I have a vision for a very small group of people who are affected by the ultra rare disease Carney Complex (CNC). I myself am 1 of 750 worldwide. For more information on CNC go to: What is Carney Complex?
Back in 2011 I had had enough of being isolated and started a group for people with CNC on facebook. In 8 years the international Community has grown to 200+ members. While facebook has made things very easy it still has certain issues that can be better ensured through a website. (e.g. privacy settings, data policy, file sharing, etc. to just name a few).
The idea for the website would be to educate, provide the most current research and clinical information on the web, building awareness and giving support. Also I am finally in the position to be able to dedicate more time to build the website.
Your donation would help guarantee the continuation of the website for the next five years. These past three years I‘ve paid for it out of my own pocket, which amounts to aprox. 90 Sfr. / 80 Euro/ 97 USD per year. I am asking for a bit more to cover the fees involved for setting up this campaign. (In case you might be wondering: Yes, I am based in Switzerland).
All the work that I have done (and intend to continue doing) has been on voluntary basis.
